Web Industry is a very good industry to serve. The Industry has many options from which one can not only earn handsome salary but also a good name in the market of Information Technology. I am working in web Industry as a Tech Lead (Web and Graphic Design) now. But I have started my career as a Junior Web Designer in the year 2004 at that time I have switched my career from Banking to IT which was not a vice decision at that point of time but today I am very happy about what and where I am in the industry.
And Know, I would like to share my experience with all of you and want to encourage you to start your career in the vast Web Industry. I am sharing some good reference as well in this post where you can find jobs related to Web and Graphic Industry and start your career with some handsome salary and as you go on you can earn a lot more than what you have expected from your self.
So starting with the Positions and qualification requirement in the Industry. I am starting from the Fresher and Junior Level and then moving to the senior as package is the major thing for all of us so I am also sharing that as per my knowledge about the Industry in India.
1) Fresher Web Designer / Graphic Designer
Software Required: Photoshop, Corel Draw, Pagemaker, Illustrator
This is a Start Level Position in any Web Design Agency or Publishing Company which you can get by doing Small Six month courses from any Institution some reference of institutions are as follows:

http://www.technosysindia.in/ (Fees 24,000)
After doing this course you can find a job for around 4-5 thousand per month for the first year and then it's all depends on your skills but a normal skilled person can earn 10-12 thousand after successful completion of this course.
Note:- I am also giving personal classed at my home for this course and charging a minimum fees after checking the skill of the person.
2) Fresher Php Developer
Software Required: Php, Javascript, Jquery
This is a Start Level Position in any Web Design Agency which you can get by doing a small 4 month course from any Institution some reference of institutions are as follows:

Software Required: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Xhtml, Css, Jquery, Javascript
Note:- I am also giving personal classed at my home for this course and charging a minimum fees after checking the skill of the person.
Other than these positions and full time jobs you can also work as a freelancer and earn handsome amounts all you need is to share your knowledge on social networking sites and create new contacts.

After completion of this course one can earn 4-5 thousand as a startup salary and can earn 15-20 thousand per month after a year of hands on experience in the field.

Other than these positions and full time jobs you can also work as a freelancer and earn handsome amounts all you need is to share your knowledge on social networking sites and create new contacts.
I have seen that people are not keen to learn or speak english and staying themselves on hindi language but my dear friends more than 80% of websites are developed in english all books are in english and clients are as well located in europe, uk, usa and australia and they speak english as well. I suggest to join english spoken classes as well. I have done the same as well and still improving myself day by day.
